Hostel One: Management Structure
We were invited by one of our main clients, Hostel One, to improve the management structure of their growing hostel chain. Having opened 3 new hostels in as many months, they needed to implement a management hierarchy and improve communication between their properties and between staff members. We redefined some staff roles, implemented a strong management structure, and scheduled weekly management meetings. In doing this, we created an advisory committee, support network, and idea hub for all of the hostels in the chain.
We helped create a central database and training program for each hostel to follow, and made sure that Hostel One brand’s philosophy was understood and fully adopted by new staff. In doing this, we helped to ensure that the growth of the chain was sustainable and successful.
