In March 2015 we spent 2 months in Madrid helping to open Sungate One Hostel. We designed, we built, we painted, we laughed, and we had a great time. As well as design the common areas and bedrooms, we trained the staff to HostelCoach standards and created a program of day & evening hostel activities which still run successfully today. Since welcoming the first guests through the door, Sungate One has been voted the number one hostel in Madrid and continues to thrive as the most successful hostel in the Spanish capital.
